Meet Miss Grace - Principal at GKY Dance
Welcome to GKY Dance, where Grace's dream of sharing her passion for dance with the younger generation has come true. With over 15 years in the dance industry, Grace is dedicated to instilling a love of dance in students of all ages and skill levels. Grace’s dance journey began at just 5 years old, studying Ballet, Modern, and Tap. Her love for dance grew, and at 16, she moved to Essex to attend the prestigious Performers College, where she spent 4 years immersed in her craft. Alongside her studies, Grace completed her DDE ISTD teaching certification in Imperial Ballet and graduated with a Diploma in Dance Theatre. Her professional experience includes working with Sol Dans Contemporary Company and contributing to BBC Comic Relief’s EastEnders. In addition to her dance school, Grace holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts and Acrobatic Arts Preschool teaching, as well as a Level 4 ITDA teaching qualification. She is also an accomplished choreographer, having worked on musicals such as "Sister Act", "Grease", "9 to 5", "The Lion King" and "Matilda." After leaving London, Grace pursued her dream of owning a dance school to share her passion with others. Known for her inspiring teaching style and commitment to student development, she is dedicated to nurturing each dancer’s unique potential and encouraging creativity. Meet Miss Lucy – A Lifelong Passion for Dance and Performance
Miss Lucy’s journey in dance began at the age of 4, starting with ballet before progressing to modern and tap. Her dedication and talent have seen her achieve Advanced 1 qualifications in both Ballet and Modern, as well as Intermediate in Tap.
At just 7 years old, Miss Lucy’s love for the stage led her to a theatre school, where she took part in a variety of productions, including Billy Elliott, Oliver, The Wiz, and Peter Pan. These early experiences ignited her passion for performing and set the foundation for her career in dance and the arts.
Miss Lucy has been sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for dance since the age of 16, working as a teaching assistant and, more recently, teaching at the prestigious “More than English” summer school. Her commitment to developing her skills is evident in her achievements, including earning a Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts with Distinction and obtaining her certificate in Acrobatic Arts.
With her extensive experience and passion for teaching, Miss Lucy is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers to achieve their dreams and embrace the joy of dance.

Meet Miss Bea – A True Dance Enthusiast and Dedicated Teacher
Miss Bea’s dance journey began at the age of 3, where her love for movement blossomed in classes for Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acrobatics, and Lyrical. Over the years, she has competed at a national level and achieved outstanding results in examinations across all these styles.
Her passion for dance led her to pursue formal training at BOA, where she earned a BTEC Extended Diploma in Dance. She then continued her studies at the renowned Addict Dance Academy, graduating with an HND Diploma and a BA Hons Degree in Dance. Alongside her impressive performance credentials, Bea has also gained teaching qualifications with the IDTA and Acrobatic Arts, demonstrating her commitment to sharing her knowledge and love for dance.
Since graduating, Bea has been wholeheartedly dedicated to teaching dancers of all ages and levels, inspiring them to grow, thrive, and reach their potential. Her expertise, passion, and kind-hearted approach make her an invaluable member of our team.
